Forest Response Plan, Critical Incident Forest Plan, whatever the name the intention is the same, to have a plan. The thing about plans is that that if they aren’t comprehensive, easy to navigate, and readily available when you need them, they won’t work.
Creating a response plan is an incredibly long and intensive process and it’s really easy to put it on the back burner because it’s a plan “just in case” something were to happen, which is understandable. However, critical incidents always happen when you least expect them to, which is why having a comprehensive response plan is invaluable.
I can work with individual forests in order to help build a response plan that works for their needs. Every forest responds to critical incidents differently so a “one plan fits all” strategy doesn’t tend to work very well. If your forest is interested in revising your plan to better suit your needs feel free to contact me.
